It is with sincere gratitude that I thank Dr. Karsten Eden of Anchorage, Alaska for preparing the following story of Oscar Geyger and his Company for inclusion in this web site.

Following are three sliders with images of a Geyger & Co. combination gun made in 1922 by the Ernst August Merkel Co. in Suhl. The serial number on the receiver and barrels are the Merkel no. and the number above the top lever is the Geyger serial number. It is a 20 ga. over 6.5×54 Mannlicher-Schoenauer.
